These past two weeks have been so awesome. The first day of intersession I was kind of disappointed on the wood I saw outside because I though that it was going to be little bit and we weren’t going to get everything done but then when we started unloading and I noticed it was a lot of wood i starded thinking about how we were going to build the gaga pit. But then when we started learning the measurements and you started explaining how we where going to build it,it was kind of hard to picture it. So on day two it started getting more exciting and then on day three we started doing the practice cuts ,and on day four we measured the actual pieces of wood that we where going to us to build the gaga pit and we cut them , then on day six we painted and the rest of intersession we build the gaga pit and made the corn holes and the sacks for the corn holes then we had two days left to play all day gaga and with the corn holes. I think that the best day was when we had to find out the measurements of the studs ,we had to measure the distance between each stud for each wall. I think it was the best day ever because we all started to bring out calculators and we all started writing on the boardalotof equations and we started solving them but what made it so cool was that we all cooperated and we all solved that problem togetheras a team that was what made it so cool. And my opinion from day one to now has changed and I think this was the best intersession EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S
day five we also started painting and it wasent so fun because it was burning hot out side and the sun would bother alot and it just wasent fun because we were getting sun burned.

One of the problems i faced was getting the wood to fit all together because sometimesthe wood would'nt fit together. so the way we over came this challenge was by moving all the wood around unyill it would fit together. My favorite part of the day was building the frame of the gaga pit because we had to messure and screw in stuff and also nail stuff to make the gaga pit strong. another fun thing we did was work with the other groups and it was easier to finish and it was very fun.what i liked about today was that we where almost done with the gaga pit all we need to do now is put 7 more piece of ply wood and we are done with it. Man im so exited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

If you had 27 "2x4" pieces of wood the total height would be 54" and the width would be 108". The freatest challenge i faced to day was trying to drill the long screws in, because they would keep falling and falling so the way i over came this challenge was by getting a magnetic drill bid and a drill bid extenter which would cover the screw and it wouldnt let it fall, but what i noticed was that i wasent the only one having that problem alot of other people including Mr. Shulman (interssesion teacher). i think that tomorrow we are going top finish the GaGa pit and we are going to be able to play in it but first we are going to have to put the last top pieces of the GaGa pit and make sure that it is steady then we are going to write our names and the rules inside of it and thats it we are goin to be finished!!!!!!!!!!

This week we painted all of the boards that needed to be painted. All though it was alot of work it was also alot of fun. We also cut all the wood that needed to be cut in the certin angle it was soppose to be cut in.all the math was also fun doing, although i already knew how to do everything it was also fun going over it again we also did practice cuts with some cheap wood and another fun thing we did was messure the wood to the certin messurement they had to be in. some of the painting was difficult because we had to give it many coats of paint so it would cover all of the wood completly, specially the ply wood because you could see the wood alot through the paint so the way we over came that challenge was by giving it alot of coats of paint. so hopefully this comming up week we can have alot more fun in building the GAGA pit and the Corn Holes. |

I think that the past 3 days have been amazing. I think that everybody has put in a lot of work and effort. i like what we have so far and today was so much fun becuase we got to cut the wood with mitre saws and we had to measure everything to cut the right size. I also like that we have to create a skit about safety first, and we also did practice cuts with cheap wood that was also fun and i think that the last 3 days have been awesome and I'm glad that I'm in theis interseesion |

1.)what is the diffrence between a section view and a plan view?
a section view is a side view and a plan view is a birds eye view.
2.)what was your safety skit about?
its good to teachers around for safety.
3.)whats the diffrence between a saw in japan and a american saw?
a saw in japan has the teeth going a sertin way that when you pull the saw back it cuts, and a american saw when you push the saw foward it cuts.
4.)what does measure twice, cut once, mean and why is it important to remember that saying?
it means to double check your messurement before cutting because you cant cut something to make it longer
